ANOTHER NEW DATE!!!

Young Voices have been in touch again......apparently the 16th of February clashes with some schools half term holiday (not ours though!!) so they have adjusted the date again. We will now be going to Young Voices on:

THURSDAY 27TH JANUARY 2011!

Young Voices has been in touch - please read their email below!

Dear Teacher i/c Music,

You know how disappointed we were, as you must have been, to be unable to stage our Sheffield concerts on the 1st, 2nd & 3 December. However, there is no doubt that it was the right decision and the risks were too high to consider.

We are very pleased to advise you that all three concerts are now rescheduled for the 14th, 15th & 16th February on exactly the same basis as December. The repertoire will remain the same and all tickets are valid and not refundable. We confirm your date is

16th February 2011

and your seating plan that you have already received will apply on this date. All artists have confirmed their availability as have the Music Director, the conductor and the band so we will have a wonderful series of concerts albeit not exactly Christmas.

All good wishes for Christmas and see you in the New Year.

GREAT NEWS!!

Disappointing news.....

We are very sorry to announce that due the weather conditions Young Voices have postponed this years concerts in Sheffield until the New Year........here is a copy of the email they have sent us:-

Dear Headteacher and Teacher i/c Music

It is with huge regret that in view of deteriorating weather conditions we are POSTPONING the Young Voices Concerts from the 1st, 2nd & 3rd December to alternative dates in the New Year. All tickets are fully transferable at no additional cost and please ensure that all parents keep their valid tickets safe.

The children`s safety is the overriding concern of you as a school and of us as a concert organiser and there really is no choice in this matter.

We sincerely hope you agree and will proceed to make all necessary arrangements for rearranged dates. We will confirm the new dates within the next 7 days with the total co-operation of the Motorpoint Arena Sheffield.
